DAY 1:
Arrive at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport. You will be met by your guide at the airport. You will board your coach and travel through Gauteng Province into Mpumalanga Province and then onto your Safari Lodge which is nestled on the border of the Kruger National Park. Once there, you will check into your Safari Lodge accommodation; this will be your home for the next five nights, over night there.

DAY 2:
After breakfast you will board the coach and begin on the full day Panorama Route tour. The Panorama Route is one of South Africa's most vibrant and beautiful sight seeing areas that you could visit, known for its cultural heritage and its dramatic landscapes. You will be taken to see natural phenomenon's such as the Blyde River Canyon which is home to spectacular wildlife and birdlife and some of the best views in South Africa. The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon of its kind in the world. You will go on to see the dramatic view at God's Window and have a chance to see the Bourre's Luck Potholes. You will see ancient artistic footprints left by indigenous peoples of Africa and the Gold Rush territory, the old mining town of Pilgrim's Rest, home to the early gold prospectors.
You will return to your accommodation and over night there.

DAY 3:
After breakfast you will be transferred onto open game vehicles and taken into the Greater Kruger National Park. Your guide will drive you to strategic spots within the park so that you will have the best opportunity to view the many different animals that live in the park.
The Kruger National Park is divided into six eco-systems:
Baobab sandveld, Mopane scrub, Lebombo knobthorn-marula bushveld, mixed acacia thicket, Combretum-silver clusterleaf woodland on granite and riverine forest. Altogether it has 1,982 species of plants. Out of the 517 species of birds found at Kruger, 253 are residents, 117 non-breeding migrants, and 147 nomads. Also, eagles can be found there.
All the Big Five game animals ( Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard & Buffalo) are found at Kruger National Park, which has more species of mammals than any other African Game Reserve (at 147 species).
You will spend the entire day in the park on safari. In the late afternoon you will be returned to your accommodation. You will once again over night at the Lodge.

DAY 4:
Wake up very early in time for you 06h00 bush walk. The morning is the best time to see animals and to catch them unaware. The walk in about two hours long, when it is done you will return to the Safari Lodge for breakfast. After a leisurely breakfast you will then be taken to the banks of the Blyde River and take a motor boat ride up the river. You will stop over somewhere for lunch and then return to the Safari Lodge.
In the late afternoon you will be taken on another walk to a cultural village where you will be able to see how the people there live and you will be given the opportunity to visit with a Sangoma or witch doctor, who does consultations for a small charge. Return to the Safari Lodge where you will over night

DAY 5:
You will have this day free to do as you please. You can choose to stay at the Lodge and make use of the facilities there or if you would like to book another full day safari into Kruger Park, you are more than welcome to do so, you can book the safari in advance through us when you book this trip, however, this will be for your own expense. After dinner you will over night at the Lodge.

DAY 6:
After breakfast you will depart from the Lodge and travel back to Johannesburg. Once in Johannesburg you will travel to the Oliver Tambo International Airport and catch your connecting domestic flight to Cape Town. You will be met by your guide in Cape Town and taken to your Hotel. You will check in and over night there.

DAY 7:
After breakfast you will be taken into Cape Town which isrich in tradition, creativity and diversity of colour; language and culture. After a short tour of the City Bowl you will go on a historical walk which will take you back in European history to 1652 when the Dutch East India Company sent Jan van Riebeck to establish a replenishing station at the Cape. The walk will start in Greenmarket Square, once a car park and now an open air African market where it is possible to buy all types of crafts and artifacts.
From the Square you will meander through St Georges Mall, a popular walking promenade dotted with small coffee shops and local performers and on to the Golden Acre, a modern shopping centre, inside which the ruins of a reservoir built in 1663 can still be seen. Photograph the City Hall from where Nelson Mandela made his first public speech after being released from prison and then on to the Castle to learn more about the beginning of European existence in the Cape. Enter the Company Gardens opposite the House of Parliament. These are the gardens where fresh vegetables used to be grown to supply the Dutch sailors with provisions for their trips to India. Today the Gardens contain a large variety of indigenous and exotic trees, shrubs, an aviary and a restaurant. At the end of the Gardens is a rose garden which would take you to the entrance of the National Art Gallery.
When you are done you will be transported to the base of Table Mountain to the cable car station. Weather permitting; ride to the summit of the Mountain. The mountain is part of a Nature reserve and wooden walkways and designated paths allow you to wander around without damaging the unique plant life. Excellent food and refreshments are available and a small shop sells curios and stamps. You can even post your cards from the top of the mountain. Dassies, (rock hyrax) that look like giant Guinea Pigs on the rocks in the sun and accept tit bits from curious visitors. Return to your Hotel where you will once again over night.

DAY 8:
After breakfast, leave on a tour of the Cape Peninsular as the beauty of the Cape is best experienced with a slow drive around the Peninsular to Cape Point. Take the famous Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular scenic drives along the Constantia Forest to False Bay and on to the fishing village of Simonstown, the principal base for South Africa's navy and where you will be able to visit the biggest breeding colony of African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Theses flightless birds are free to roam in this area which forms part of the Cape Peninsular National Park and it is very interesting to watch them as they frolic in the surf or waddle across the beach.
From Simonstown drive through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, within the Cape Peninsular National Park – which protects in excess of 1000 species of fynbos (a general term for the flora indigenous to the Cape) and take a photograph of the southwestern most point of the African continent, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Your return journey will take you along the Old Cape Road, through the picturesque towns of Scarborough and Kommetjie, then along Boyes Drive to Bishopscourt and Constantia where you can choose to stop over at the Groot Constantia Wine Estate, or go on to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Return to your Hotel and over night there.

DAY 9:
You will have this day free to do as you please. You can choose to stay at the Hotel or if you would like to book more activities, you are more than welcome to do so, however, this will be for your own expense. Otherwise go to the V&A Waterfront and spend the day there. Return to the Hotel and over night there.

DAY 10:
After breakfast you will board your coach and head out to the wine lands. Cape Town is a member of the great wine capitals of the World and wine has formed an integral part of the Western Cape ever since Jan van Riebeck planted the first vineyards more than 350 years ago. You will spend the day learning about South African wines. It is also possible to sample delicious cheeses or just enjoy the spectacular scenery. En route to the wine estates visit places of interest such as The Language Monument in Paarl and the towns of Franschhoek & Stellenbosch. After a full day of wine tasting and country side scenery, you will return to Cape Town to your Hotel and over night there.

DAY 11:
After breakfast you can spend this day as you please, perhaps go to the V&A Waterfront and do some last minute shopping before you have to go the airport and catch your flight home.
